About Us:

Dale Hartman - Guitar, Vocals
Dale grew up in the Twin Cities and has been playing music for over 25 years. Early influencers were the Beatles and they inspired a strong desire to visualize music in new and different ways. Early English rock, Bob Dylan and the Grateful Dead brought the passion for music to a whole new level.
Rick "Big Bass Frog" Schroepfer - Bass guitar, Backing vocal
Rick has been playing Bass guitar for many years. He has toured extensively in a variety of bands throughout the years. He has enjoyed recording, touring, and most of all loves playing live.
After several years on hiatus, Rick felt the urge to start playing again and has never looked back. He brings a unique style of lead bass along with sweet harmonies.

Ken Lundquist- Drums, Vocals
Ken began playing drums as a teen and was in such groups as the EMPORT, a classic "British Invasion" cover band and later with The Syndicate, an 8 pc. R & B horn band. He later ran a 4 pc. rock band called The Party Monsters, until he took the job as house drummer at the fabled Nye’s Bar where he played a steady gig for 12 years with The Ruth Adams Band (aka) The World’s Most Dangerous Polka Band. Being with the BLUTOPIANS he can again play and enjoy the classic rock, blues, soul and country music he grew up on!
We are a band of 3 guys (frequently we will have our very special guest Rick Blom- Harmonica, vocals, and the very talented Marc Zee on keyboards) who love to play music for people to dance to. We like to play music from all genres, and span the 50's, 60's, 70's, 80's, and 90's. We have a unique style of music that is sure to get you out on the dance floor.
We are proud to play for our Veterans at Eagles clubs, VFW's, and American Legions. We are one of the few bands who has a Vet playing in our band.
